Our Story2021-01-14T05:54:08+00:00

Owner Greg, is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He and wife Anise, have 6 children between them, and they love to travel.  After serving the country for 25 years, they decided to take a new journey together.  That journey is to provide a place where visitors can disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, reconnect to nature, enjoy the outdoors, have fun and feel revived, be a family, a stronger team or just get recharged.  And all so you can “Be About That Life!”

“God has a reason for allowing things to happen.  We may never understand his widsom, but we simply have to trust his will.”

At BATL Ranch RV Resort we understand that because every family is different, every break is different.  Our location is in Central Texas, nestled in a beautiful and secluded wooded area in the quiet country town of Mount Calm, Texas.  BATL Ranch was conceived with you in mind to help visitors escape, relax, have fun and experience a little glamping too.

  • Choose from many outdoor activities, movies in the park, recreation and games for outdoor/indoor
    • (paintball coming summer 2020; fun center coming 2021)
  • Let the little ones have fun at our playground
  • Let your furry friends have fun at our dog park and more!

We are open 10 months out of the year from March to the end of December.  However, if you wish to book a site long-term during the winter months; just contact the office and we can advise on what we have available and can assist you with your reservation.  For overnight, a couple of days, or weekly bookings; those you can book online even during the winter months if the sites are available online.  We try to take a short break at BATL Ranch RV Resort during Jan/Feb months so we continue to improve and groom our park each year.
